Latest Ranged and Cavalry Core Sets + Ryujin

Last time, I wrote about 4 piece core sets, but in this article I want to focus on full piece sets of cores.

There are basically 4 sets of cores you can make:

1. Infantry specific
2. Ranged specific
3. Cavalry specific
4. All around attack and debuff.

With MZ puking out cores at least once a week, its becoming very difficult to keep up with all the new cores, but I wanted to show you all what some level 5 piece cores looked like and why I don’t make all my cores level 6 pieces.   One is, you need 7 level 6 pieces for each item.  The core itself and then the 6 level 6 pieces.  That’s a lot of gold pieces and you’ll run out fast. You can make far more cores by using purple pieces. Core is expensive enough as it is, this is why I am writing on what a couple good sets of cores can look like with mainly purple pieces.

The 2 sets I’ll be showing in this article are good enough to rally anything under 2 bill in research gear or monster gear, and are good enough to hit anything under 500 mill in war gear. My main focus on troop specific cores is to get to at least 2200% total attack (troop attack + troop type attack %).

Ranged Core Set

Below is a ranged set that I made.  This set is roughly 2200% when you add a hero to my prison plus a 75% attack boost.  While this is no where near the 3500% sets people are making these days with ranged, this set is great for kvk targets 1.5 bill and under.  They are also easier to replace than the all level 6 sets.  I am not a big spender in this game, I take advantage of treasure digs, monsters, and farming when I can.

Cavalry Core Set

The next set is a cavalry set that I put together during an actual kvk and needed it super fast and while I was putting gems in the core the target we were attacking, shielded. Lol.  It still isn’t gemmed fully and is at 2100% total attack and I have no hero in prison and attack boost isn’t on.  This one should be closer to 2300% when its fully gemmed.    As you can see from the pictures, I didn’t use the best possible core pieces out there, but I used the best I had available at the time.

With all the new core out there, there are so many possible scenarios to put together really solid sets, but our alliance typically makes gold core with purple pieces, especially because of tournaments.  We want our core to last throughout the tournament.  We aren’t trying to make stayalive core sets here because we don’t have his bank roll, lol.  We are trying to spread out our core during tournaments.  Anything over 2200% total attack is a great set on a troop specific set and on a balanced set, around 1500 total attack on all 3 troop types is a great set.

Ryujin Core Set

The new sets of core just came out and here is the recipes for the cores and below are some of the stats you get with all level 6 pieces in the core.  The new core is pretty sick.  Best of luck in your 4 vs 4 kvk and in the next tournament.
