Level 22 Buildings Full Expansion Details
Level 22 Buildings are finally here and we have all the requirements and stats summarized below in the most convenient manner! These have been a long time coming since they were announced in beta a couple months ago. Often the requirements change and sometimes the stats change when new features are made live, so we wrote up this post to eliminate any confusion!
Take a moment to appreciate the swag new buildings that you are probably going to construct over the coming months.
What You Need Before Upgrading to Level 22 Buildings
- Quite a bit of resources
- Master’s Hammers to upgrade your buildings (same ones needed for building plots)
- Master Architect Set (Recommended)
Like the in-game blog alludes to, if you plan on participating in Alliance City Combat, you’re going to need the increased stat bonuses from level 22 buildings.
Stronghold
Upgrade the Stronghold, the centerpiece of your Empire, to change your appearance on the World Map! Your March Capacity will expand as well.
300k march capacity (total)
Walls
Build more Traps, while stepping up your Trap Attack, Trap Defense, and Trap Training Speed stats.
20% Trap Attack
15% Trap Defense
15% Training Speed
Forge
Gain a massive 145% Crafting Speed, 10% Core Crafting Booster, and 5% Core/Relic Duration from your Level 22 Forge.
Gymnos
Level up your Gymnos to improve your Hero XP Modifier and Hero XP Retention and earn additional Skill Points and Monster Skill Points.
+2 Additional Monster Skill Points
+5 Additional Skill Points
Marketplace
Upgrade your Marketplace to raise your Resource Help Capacity, as well as boosting your Troop Load, Gold Gathering Speed, Trade March Speed, and Gathering Speed.
10% Troop Load
10% Gold Gathering Speed
125% Trade March Speed
10% Gathering Speed
Quarry
Level up your Quarry for greater Stone Production and Stone Capacity.

Mine
Move your Mine to the next level to up your Ore Production and Ore Capacity.
Farm
Produce more Food per hour while raising your Food Capacity.
22,000 / hr

Prison
Upgrade the Prison to obtain higher Troop Attack and to unleash the ability to deface a captured enemy Hero’s Profile Image. Add insult to injury!
The picture on the right is what you can make an enemy hero’s image look like when in your Prison.
Barracks
Receive a higher Troop Training Capacity, Troop Defense Bonus, and Enemy Health Debuff.
+4% Troop Health Debuff
+1% Troop Defense Bonus
Hospital
Gain increased Hospital Capacity, Troop Health Bonus, and Hospital Healing Speed from your Level 22 Hospital.
Storehouse
Level up your Storehouse to make MASSIVE improvements to your Resource Protection.
Villa
Upgrade your Villa to raise your Silver Production, Silver Capacity, Training Speed, and Troop Attack Bonus.
+1% Troop Attack Bonus
+2% Training Speed
Logging Camp
Level up your Logging Camp for greater Wood Production and Wood Capacity.
Hall of War
Secure a higher Rally Capacity and Rally Attack Bonus, and unlock the ability to apply select emoji to Empires defeated by a War Rally. Pin a mark of shame on your foes!
The new emoji will demonstrate your dominance after conquering another Empire. Make sure entire Kingdom knows who to respect by adding visual evidence of your conquest for all to see! Behold some of the new images you are able to pin to a defeated Empire:
Altar
Gain bigger Altar Boosts to your Troop Attack, Troop Defense, Troop Health, and March Speed from your Level-22 Altar.
Academy
Upgrade the Academy to VASTLY increase your Research Speed!
Embassy
Increase your Reinforcement Capacity and Embassy Defense Bonus.
Watch Tower
Level up your Watch Tower to raise the Troop Attack PENALTY of your enemies along with their Scouting Silver cost.
The Rest of the Buildings are Coming Soon
Hall of War: The Hall of War will enable War Leaders to apply a selected emoji to Empires defeated by a War Rally. The special image will appear on the World Map over the vanquished City. Add insult to injury – pin a mark of shame on your adversaries!
Building Levels 23-25
These levels were also in beta for a period of time, and it’s probably what Game of War is referring to when they say this at the end of their in game blog:
“Further additions will allow you to gain MASSIVE new benefits through your buildings.”
I can’t wait to see more new zeroing records being set after players upgrade to 22s.

Upgrading barracks to level 22 takes over 4000 days.

This is whilst wearing full glorious architect gear with researched benefits.
So many speed ups in packs now and gifts, that shouldn’t be that much problem. Take a look at your speed ups.
I got to Stronghold 22 on one $4.99 gold pack and a good alliance. Earn all the gold needed to buy the hammers during research infernos. Be patient. It took me 2.5 months since first starting but I got there. On just $4.99. It’s possible!

What does Storehouse Level 22 protect? The article doesn’t actually say!
Just more resources, look in the details of the Storehouse building to see exact numbers. Many people will not actually use this buildings because the amount of resources it protects are so little.
Does anyone know what the 10% core booster on the level 22 forge is? I had a ticket in and MZ told me it was a 10% speed up advantage when using speeds to finish your cores. Just went through making a couple sets and I am not seeing any 10% speed up on any of the ones I am making.
Sh22 does not give 1 extra march slot or 1 extra help

How much power do you gain from upgrading to SH 22?
Very little I think less than 1 million power, but 50k march boost ( which power to size is better than March tree, for the traps out there)

So glad I left the game. 1 $5 pack could get you to level 21 for sure. But in order to compete now, you need level 22. The amount of gold needed alone for the Hammers is huge.
Ha ha ha, what’s going to come next month? 1BIL gold for a “spare” hero? No mz is loosing the plot, greed has no boundaries. They will loose many players.
This is completely ridiculous….it’s not a game it’s a waste of money……no building event …the cost is amazing …and the stat of the new building is really low…….so I m playing since 2years and half 15b power and I m just waiting to be soloing and zeroing ….it’s not about playing well it’s all about spending ….I m a player not a stupid bank
Actually, you have to spend money AND understand the game. My trap can burn from a 15b but a 250b kept losing hero to me. So yes, you do have to “play well” to do anything in the game.

My stats are different…i do not have the 9th march, neither have the 26th help…. Same for the forge, i only have 20% crafting speed, not 145… How is that ?
“Can’t wait to see new zero record”….well I’m no record but I hope Im a “victim” of zeroing so I can quit. This has gone beyond absurd. We all know the levels are going up from here (and the rediculous speed and rss requirements with it). As an 8-10b player, going up and down losing and retraining troops, I can’t afford this anymore. I have a blast in kvk going hard and losing troops, but fk me this is getting stupid. I can’t even send my damn hero out of the SH at this level anymore or I’ll get crushed by solos. Wonder how many spenders around my level are done?

8.2B here. I’m just joining rallies until my T4 are gone (not re-traning as I go). once I can’t help fill a rally anymore I’m done. MZ has always been off their rocker but the ever changing new better gear, all the new research and now the buildings I’m done.
I felt like I was in a good position for a few weeks a few months ago and in the last 2 months feel as though I’ve been knocked back to SH14.
I’m done with the BS, I’ll play for what it’s worth, zero my own account and call it a day.

“Only” 1.6 bil here, but I’ve been there 4 times tried to do it on a one pack per month budget. Going to give my account to an acquaintance (would never do that to a friend). Also going to let go a couple of non-spending SH lvl 14 accounts I built up as traps (remember when you could have fun as a lvl 14 trap?). The game now is an exercise in insanity for addictve personalities. Have appreciated this site, but this is my last post.

Plenty mare still spending, kvk’s are so lame anymore though and they were tae best part of the game.
Everything sitting unshielded during kvmk is either too big to rally or a trap, only decent action is at wonder. Pushed to many moderate and low spenders out of the game. There’s no way to reverse that at this point though so things will just continue moving in the same direction unfortunately.
Along the same lines, if they know only bigs can compete now they should encourage more attacking. Everyone left is too big to hit. I run a 2b rally trap and even the best gear doesn’t really hurt. There’s no incentive for me to grow bigger.
