Stronghold 23 Requirements
- Forge Lv. 22
- Walls Lv. 22
- Master’s Hammer 17,950

- Stone: 8,940,000,000

- Food: 22,425,000,000
Stronghold 23 Rewards
- March Size: +100,000
- Hero XP: +728,000
- Power: +3,732,077
Stronghold 23 will be a necessary upgrade for any rally leader wishing to compete at the Wonder or gain an edge over traps who haven’t yet boosted to account for the larger Rally Size. With 200% boost, that 100,000 increase becomes 300,000 for a Rally March Size of 4,506,432. When burning a monster core set such as Ares, +300,000 troops will add a significant punch! In fact, early reports from first night of release are saying 13 B in full Imperial Dragon is not safe with research power of 5 and 6 B. So, 7 B Troop power not safe. Golden Shogun 2 x Rising Tekko accessories with Imperial Dragon 5 Piece could give the necessary defensive edge for overnight attire. Or full Golden Shogun if you are in that power range.
Prison Level 23
Prison Level 23 provides a +15% boost to all Troop Attack when holding an enemy hero for a total of 50%. This is a significant increase over the boost gained from Level 22 which was just +5%.

My Experience Level 23 Buildings so Far
Last night, I was setting my T4/T2 trap for offline rallies and took a couple of Ares with the new March Size. My losses increased by about 20%. Stronghold 23 is a great investment at the moment for rally leaders as it gives an immediate edge over traps who have not adjusted yet. Most traps won’t adjust until they take a rally to “see what happens” with what they have. Most traps don’t boost or spend unless they have to. Rally Leaders will push the envelope.
That being said, trappers, learn from my losses and boost your troops or grab some higher defense gear. Rising Tekkos are amazing accessories against Ares and Poseidon and are included in the Building 23 Upgrade packs now. It is a valuable pack to get to sustain your Game of War experience through this Level 23 upgrade even if you don’t use all the materials in the pack. The cores and pieces can be sold to the Bazaar for Copper. The Copper can be used to by powerful Boosts and Gems.
Alternatively, you can work the Events and boost troops with your current gear. I recommend boosting 25% minimum troop counts. Keep a watchful eye on the Nerf limits.
Embrace the challenge of Level 23! Keeping Game of War from becoming stale or stalemate between Rally Leaders and Traps requires continuous tweaking and incremental upgrades. My strategy is to incrementally upgrade my trap to ride that fine line between control and chaos. As I witnessed last night, I’m in the Chaos zone but with a little help from my Alliance mates and a little investment I should back to laughing and poking sticks at Heroes in my Prison!
Have fun guys!
