So CRR is awesome, right? For those you who don’t know it’s what people say now when they want their hero back so they can keep on fighting. It stands for Chop or Release or Ransom.
Back in the day CRR eliminated the long wait for a hero to be returned. When the trap executed, released, or ransomed our hero we could go on playing and killing. Back when we played with cores CRR made is so our timers weren’t running down in our targets prison!
So while it’s is a great thing, especially for us Leads that are impatient and do not want to wait 45 minutes to an hour to get our hero back, with CRR traps lost something. A humor that came with the game. Most of you know what I’m talking about and have the screenshots to prove it!
Traps no longer receive emails expounding on our greatness with witty repartee in desperate attempts to get their heroes back. The new email we get just says: “CRR??.” And sometimes we get a “nice job” or “please.” That’s if they even ask for their hero at all!
The past creativity that went into these emails brought humor to entire alliances. Laughter abounded and heroes were cut loose! But we don’t get these emails as often anymore. So today I want to share some of that past humor with you! Many thanks to my friends who helped me out with obtaining these pictures!
What about you? What’s the funniest mail you have received of people requesting the return of their hero?
