MZ Makes Changes Players Have Asked For
It’s easy to rage, but it’s hard to praise.
I wanted to take a moment and point out some things that MZ has done recently in response to player feedback. The primary reason I’m bringing these things to light because Real Tips has become a GREAT community for players to discuss their latest interests and concerns with the game, and it’s important that we celebrate our wins. In this case our wins are changes being made to the game because we voiced our opinions constructively.

Cheaper Pack Prices
I can’t even count how many times players have asked for cheaper packs in the last 6 months, but it’s been a lot. They are finally here. Take a look at the new 50% off packs that have the same amount of items as some of the $100 packs! They will most likely be different for everyone, but here are some that have shown up for us:

In my opinion these packs should appease both crowds of players: non-spenders and spenders. Non-spenders will have a chance to grow and take direction with their accounts, while spenders will have more squishy targets to hit ;P

Coliseums Are Back!
Praise the Lord! MZ has opened two Coliseums, one each month for the last two months, and they have been madness. Granted the events don’t cater well to smaller players because the requirements are hard to accomplish, the Coliseum is still a great bit of fun for spenders to see how big of accounts they can solo without losing their hero.
My recommendations if you do want to participate in the coliseum are:
- Go in with small team and try to catch a medium size players with their hero on a rally march.
- Try to catch players on a tile farming.
- Go in and test your new gear on people to see if you can burn them!
- Hit as many MONSTERS as you can because the drop rates are much better than normal and farming the monster (old and new monsters will be there) tiles can be very profitable.
Although it may seem obvious not to farm in the coliseum, the drop rates from tiles are often much better because of the risk involved. Definitely do NOT take your eyes of your tile if you are farming.
Increased Inventory Slots
Inventory slots have doubled which helps players hold all their new gear sets..

I bought a pack for the daily bonus and I did not get that in my inventory I was also missing speedups..
Maybe anyone knows why this became so glitchy/bugy after update ( 03/10/2016 ) ??? All I see is messed up game buttons ( code_build22 ) and other stuff…I cant even see cordinates…tried to reinstall the game, soft reset my phone, cleae cache and stuff but nothing helped
Worse support ever they didnt lissen millions of player boycotted and they attempt to buy off game is a epic fail. Kicks servers cant support game boards on unplayable anyone saying different is lieing to you if you make the mostake of downloading dont spend or waist time on many much better games available most players quiting a pathic excuse for a game
That big spenders are offered the $50 packs sucks IMHO because of the already huge gap. Pay-to-win.
I just bought a 300M acct for $100 from someone, really happy with it, but I realize no matter what level, there’s always someone bigger ready to burn at a moments notice.
With that, I need to know how I can actually get legit kills without the bigs just swooping right in afterwards and clearing me out… Or at least a strategy. Even now at this mid-tier, I feel helpless sometimes.
The suggestions I would make include:
1. Continue to offer the cheaper packs, instead of going up each time you make a purchase until you can only get the $99.99 packs
2. Increase the payouts for completing inferno events or drop the amount of points needed, so that we aren’t losing way more than we are winning.
3.open the monster coliseums more often.
4. Include the hero icon in the kingdom map view, so it’s easier to change gear in battle.
5. It may be far fetched, but it would be nice to find a way to allow smaller player to grow without getting “zeroed” by billion+ powered players in one hit. It makes ppl quit when they spend their money to grow and lose everything in one hit.
6. Give out more shackles, daggers and books of war to those who haven’t made it to SH 21.
7. Put more high lvl items in chests. Too many lvl 1s and 2s.
8. Allow the conqueror of the wonder to be ruler of the kingdom, instead of the alliance leader.
9. Place a variety of monsters in the kingdoms. People need a chance to acquire items to complete sets other than buying packs.
10. Please place a limit on multiple crafted items acquired by hitting monsters, or make it less time consuming to break them.
11. Since you don’t have various dig site shields to choose from and most digs take a lot longer than 3days, it would be nice if they would last for the duration of the dig.
12. Make your users feel appreciated. People spend a lot of time and money using your app, and a lot of them feel like the changes being made are only to benefit MZ. Show people that MZ cares about more than just taking their money.
Yes, mz are listening so well to us that within a week of this post they increased the price of the packs, really not impressed with mz at the moment…
That isn’t fair MZ should have given 50 dollar packs to the ones who spend more and the ones who support them the most. But hey MZ has its values all wrong imo. I have lvl 60 hero and max research but it irritates me they only offered that to people who spend less.
I disagree and would have no issue praising MZ if they catered to everyone. The spenders get nothing not on 50% off pack to any of the bigs in my kingdom I have them in my farms but not main which is level 79. They give it to those that don’t spend to get them to spend. Not kidding anyone. The the coli comes back and you can’t buy a port with gold but can go to the BS SW with 100k. MZ doesn’t care and never will. Let’s talk about kingdom walls so many dead kingdoms kill events are terrible and the tier troop events are worse. 100 points to kill and/or hospitalize a t4. Surely killin and hospital mean different things.
Let’s take about the set bonus millions of gold to get an attack bonus that disappears if you don’t have a back up set. Outrageous.
I agree the hospital shouldn’t give the same points as a kill. This completely put the nail in the coffin of the trap, with cores building the coffin. The trap account is almost useless now and the gold for kill events is way to low. I can get 200k gold for a 1 hr research event but 40 k for a 24 hr kill event. No way to even recoup the loss even if you get gold in the event.
Question: Once you buy your first $4.99 pack…and then buy a $19.99…if you don’t buy anything else for some time, say, another month or two…will the prices of the packs reset to $4.99 again?
I’m positive they will not unless MZ has changed the game recently.
What is MZ doing about the lag? I have also had issues with my iPad mini crashing all the time. I re-installed app and it is still doing it. MZ support has been completely useless so far. Until that gets fixed I am not dropping another dime.
haven’t had the 50% off sale appear guessing my level is to high 🙁 not all players received this offer which is a concern, why discriminate should be offered to all not just a selected few
Haven’t had them too. The only good thing they did so far is increasing the the core and pieces inventory. Infernos are still the same. Kvk points had been increased again. Glitches still not fixed. Can’t see mz is listing. I am done. I will quit now like many others before. Once it was fun playing GOW but these days are gone. (Sry for my bad English)
This is definitely my concern as well. Why should a loyal spender be discriminated on due to his gift level being above the average player. It appears once you get to a certain gift level people stop receiving the 50% off deals. In my opinion MZ could have had the 50% off deal opportunity given out to everyone but possibly had a limit to how many they can get or something.

MZ gave the half off packs to anyone who hadn’t purchased an anniversary pack already. Anyone who had already supported MZ with their hard earned cash this month was left out of the deal. Thanks MZ for showing appreciation.
The discounted packs are nice and I couldn’t resist buying one. However the biggest problem I currently have with the game is the events. The solo and inferno events now give poor returns and the points required for kvks are rediculous. 90+ mil for my sh20 and 500+ mil for my sh21.
The casino events were sometimes great when both solo and inferno occurred at the same time. Now we have the dungeon for which I’m yet to see a decent event for.
What they’ve done is create economy gear only big spenders can acquire and match the event rewards to those equipped with these sets.
Really glad to see cheaper packs and coliseum back. My only criticism of the coliseum being the total lack of regular rss tiles in the lv21 coliseum k130… for an event which was advertised in the blog as being a rss collection event it was quite hard to collect any meaningful amount of rss in one visit based on the slow rate of collection for monster tiles. I found drop rates and items to be poor as well. Might just be my experience.
This is very interesting from my understanding anyone under level 30 Gift level will get the 50% off packs and all those with a greater gift level will not. Not sure how true this is but in my kingdom it seems to be that way.
Yea at first I heard only non-spenders were shown the pack, but now I’ve been hearing of spenders getting it as well.
I had a nice $50 thank you pack, maximum of 3 before they disappear. Got all 3 🙂

I’m gift lvl 47 @ 1.5B so not just for non spenders. I’m not a crazy spender but have spent more than I care to admin 🙂
