      Hey Everyone,

      We’ve been getting asked quite a lot the last few days to post on all the drama, but we had our reasons for waiting.

      Being in a position of high authority in the community of gow players, we need to choose our words wisely. Instead of immediately jumping on the rage wagon we wanted to see how things played out a little. Rather than just posting images of what Stay was saying and what Stay said MZ was saying, we wanted to wait for MZ to respond directly. We had no doubt they would say something, and we knew the important thing was to cover their response to the community of players.

      We’ve been closely involved with the community for the last year and half, we’ve spent a lot of time doing what we can to make the players’ experience even better. GoW players as a whole truly are one of the greatest communities in any game we’ve ever played.

      At Real Tips, we always focus on constructive criticism towards the game. Our priorities have always been to: enrich the community, maintain the highest level of integrity, and improve the competition among all players.

      Our Thoughts On MZ’s Responses to the Community

      Second Response

      Let’s start from the beginning

      Lag/ Glitches: We have recently made a major change… a more robust crash logging service [that gives more insight on crashes]… we have detected the top “crash” offender… we are addressing this issue now and will be releasing the fix today…we are also releasing a major scout optimization the speed up scout response time on highly contested targets. Lastly, we have increase the speed of the game with the newly released Suspend & Resume feature; this feature has made logging back into the game A LOT quicker. We still have more work to do. Slowness is a complex issue…

      This is one of the most common issues players discuss. The good news is from MZ’s detailed response they are taking some significant actions. I don’t know if any of us will ever understand what it takes to reduce lag in real-time game with millions of people, but certainly MZ has the resources. I expect we will see more results soon..

      Comment below with your specific lag issues cause I’m pretty sure MZ will be reading this.

      Super Wonder: Along with the scouting optimization that is going live today we will have several MZ employees in the Super Wonder October 1st to profile and fix any slowdown occurring.

      Again, this is a very noticeable goal, so I’m looking forward to how this plays out. It’s seems like MZ can fix specific lag issues pretty quick now, so I expect the last day or two of SW to be less laggy the first couple days.

      Events: Currently we are doing 2x payouts for our most difficult inferno events! Along with the 5x troop training queue, 5x monster tile size, 3x hit and death drop rates for monsters, 2x gold tile size, 10% speed up boost, and allowing players to complete events by Any Power Gained making them easier to complete.

      This is certainly a quick fix to players’ requests for longer term achievable inferno events. By all means take advantage of it now; but we would like to more achievable events in the near term and long term future. One suggestion is that anyone can complete Tier 1 rewards relatively easy, if someone were to focus hard for the full hour they could complete Tier 2 rewards, and if someone were to spend quite a few resources speed ups they could reach Tier 3 rewards.

      Tournament Boosts: …future events moving forward will not award troop attack…

      Some of us think high level players could be bias by supporting this, since it was likely a feature to support medium tier players, but it’s still probably a better idea that MZ removes the attack boosts altogether like they have.

      CS (Customer Support): We just completed a multi month migration to a new industry-leading CRM solution. Our first response time is currently averaging at 22 hours… our average solution time is 50% shorter since June…the biggest thing we need is more representatives.

      The reality is how long it takes for MZ to respond and the quality of the response hasn’t been too impressive. It’s important that they hire enough employees to directly respond to players without using the macro responses everyone dislikes.

      Event Start Times: …[They will work to pair kingdoms together who have the same peak activity time. Although it is a hard task]

      This definitely seems like the logical action to take. Certainly there are some algorithms that could be put in place to handle this.

      Fast track fix for alliance gift popups. Basically the alliance gifts popping up were slowing the log in time for players, so they will be removing them.

      And we THANK YOU for addressing our concerns / complaints. Ha. Everything is not all fine and dandy yet, but they look to be sorting out.

      Concluding Thoughts

      Really the last thing we all want is to stop playing GoW. It’s a fantastic game, but we want it to run as fast as possible. It’s pretty crazy what kind family the community of players are after seeing the lengths they will go through to be heard by Machine Zone. Throughout all the drama I’ve kept in touch with many of the top players and alliances who all want to continue playing the game, they just want it to be more playable.

      mz response to stayalive boycott events

      I want to point out a few things that I thought were particularly significant with their response to the community.

      It takes some balls for a company as large as them to admit there have been some issues. To me, their response was refreshing because now I can truly see the personality of the company.

      This message sounds like there are high level people there who really do care about the players. Also, this tells me they have been caring for longer than we’ve thought because they have made the preparation for kingdom merging, added the technological capabilities to reduce lag (to be determined), and have put a massive amount of resources into customer support.

      It’s time for MZ to deliver on these public statements and think I can speak for the entire community when I say we are all eager to see the results.

      They Addressed Major Issues and Minor Issues

      I was impressed that they were able to address some larger issues that must a have taken a lot of time to prepare for: lag, customer service, kingdom merging.

      The minor issues of: drop rates, infernos, and special boosts have been solved temporarily. I think what the community is really looking for is consistently better drop rates, infernos, and special boosts.

      The Kingdom Merging Approach Is Epic

      Just like a true “game of war” should behave, the way kingdoms will begin merging is: whichever kingdom wins in a kvk will swallow up the other one. This is a better solution than any other I’ve thought of and is way better than forcing players to pay a large sum of gold for a teleport like many people desperately suggested. On the other hand, it’s important that MZ merges enough of the inactive kingdoms so that all kingdoms are at nearly the same level of activity.

        I have spent a lot of money on War and Order and not received anything in return. My crops, stone, and wood are on level 13/14 but don’t register as collected when I click on them. My VIP is at 5 and should be much more because I have so many VIP points that I purchased and they don’t show up either. Just today i wiped out my 6700 Golan supply that was maxed out because I didn’t know what discharge meant. I thought they would be place on the wall or in the courtyard during an attack. There is no reference or help available and Ihave spent well over $200 and can’t even attack a level 18 monster because I’m always beaten and my VIP level never raises. SO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR GAME AND HOW DO I FIX IT. DO I DELETE AND THEN RELOAD AND WILL THAT WIPE EVERYTHING OUT OR IS IT OKAY ON THE CLOUD. Where can I learn how to capture monstrrs, transport to other locations? I would like to remain a loyal customer but I can’t continue throwing money away and if this can’t be resolved and a fix posted I will have no other recourse but to go onto Facebook so they won’t get as frustrated as l.

        I know this is far in left field and not on the menu but I’m personally thinking about making a blog to share the everyday drama and hilarious activities grown-ups have done because of craziness and lord knows what else. Have everyone submit stories. GOW is like the soap-opra of gamers! Everyone’s wanting fame, or turning jealous. Line chat brings out the worst in these people too. Let it go real and nudes fly. Partners get mad and they are only BF and gf on a game letting loose, showing the whole world what a troll the other had really been. It’s amazing no one has ever wrote about these rediculous people before. Feedback would be nice on this. Thanks.

        First off I wanna start by saying that you run a great site Chad, I’m constantly rereading posts to make sure over time I dont play the telephone game teaching my newer players. BUT when it comes to this post you were right to wait a bit but you definitely didn’t wait long enough. MZ fed a load to the community and they sucked it up and rolled over instantly.Alot like with the nerf that there were uproar every which way about like “Who exactly is effected” or “I’m a billionaire account does this mean my t1s are ineffective” that’s how it was for a long time after the nerf and we are at a similar point again now.
        Like some of the following:

        -When will these scout optimizations take effect? (You can’t scout bomb a single player still without having to reboot the game after the rally lands and play effectively still)

        -Chats and Contact messaging: if your in game your fairly okay until you leave that chat window for whatever reason and you come back and it’s all gone but ten confusing posts between Kingdom leaders and then no one knows what the heck is going on.

        -serious hive lag issues on world map. You leave city view and bam your looking at your hive but just to go 10 tiles left it takes 10-30 seconds if you have an alliance of 80+ together. Or the extreme case of you wait for it to load after scrolling left and you’ve no idea where you are at now.

        -they said they fixed load screen timers? Where’s that at why does the blog still take 10-30minutes to load regardless of device youre using. Alliance tab still takes 20-40 seconds to load well if you have a guy joining for a rally to fill kiss that rally goodbye cause the enemy just shielded cause you had to cancel and reset cause the load froze at accepting him and then him going to join rally.

        And my last gripe I guess you can call them will be the 50% packs.. nothings changed there Chad. Everyone has witnessed pack quality gradually increase over the last year as new content was added. If it didn’t MZ wouldn’t sell a single pack. This 50% pack stuff isn’t a “benefit” to anyone it’s a joke as a whole because they’re selling 6month old quality for half off and still selling current deserved quality for full price. I’m not upset with the packs personally but they are still extremely outrageous and nobody can truly argue that with validity to current content.

        MZ has simply pulled the blinders back down over everyone’s eyes and silenced the masses and look they disappear and no update on anything a week and a half later now. I’m sorry a weekly update from a MULTI BILLION dollar company isn’t to much to ask for.

          I had to post on the current events at the time, but I agree with you that MZ has not followed through on their commitments in the manner that I was hoping for :/
          I try to be optimistic because I love the game, but like you I feel not much change has been made. That’s not to say they are trying, I believe they are, because when it comes to getting money, they need their customers to stay.

          I put up polls so that the community could vote on their TRUE experience. The polls definitely show better results than what I was thinking they would. We’ll see if that changes now that some time has past.

        One thing I wish people would talk about is gifting. I wish you could gift from your own inventory instead of only from using your gold!! Not a huge issue, but I think it would improve the kingdom/alliance communities a lot.

        Hello,
        i think the hole boycott has not change one thing. Marches are still frozen, you will kick out from the game and the inferno prices are still really bad. If i do one Inferno , it will cost me 800 Days and i get only 300 days back. Mz ist still a big Cashmaker

          I don’t think the boycott really had a big effect on the bottom line for them because people still bought the same packs after it was over, they probably just had a really big day after it ended. It is similar to the silly gas boycotts saying don’t buy gas on this day, but if everyone just buys gas the day before or the day after it doesn’t change the bottom line. I think a real boycott would be for everyone to put up a 3 day shield and don’t login for a day or two.

        It’s nice to see this website has finally started to cover this issue. The fact is the problems really started when updates were released to the masses. With iOS on September 3rd and with Android on September 14th… What’s transpired since is a result of vast amounts of people not being able to play the game, and most of them are long time players with significant investments in time and real money and they have had enough with all the other inequities and game structure problems. Whether Stayalive77 is an insider MZ supported account or he has the lack of self controlled financial wherewithal that allowed him to buy the gold rooftop really is irrelevant to the stability of the app, but will admit it does demonstrate the structural weakness of the game and even more demonstrates he can’t be relied upon to represent or speak for the average player of the game. What he says or MZ says shouldn’t dictate the communities outside the game from exploring and publishing the real issues!

        The stability problems are real, and Stayalive77 obviously doesn’t experience them if he isn’t an MZ insider, or he would have made that priority #1 and it’s hardly acknowledged in that context in his or MZ’s public communications, but the problems affect many and while it could certainly be a device capability issue, it is undoubtably caused by the programming of the app by the developer.

        Millions of devices didn’t suddenly become incapable of running the game reliably all on the same days the updates were released by sheer coincidence. Technology evolves and it’s natural that equipment used to run that technology becomes incapable of supporting it at some point but it is the job and responsibility of the developer to properly certify and publish needed system requirements to run the app reliably. What MZ has done is effecfively made millions of previously capable devices essentially incompatible with their software, and if they want to continue to maintain there is nothing wrong with their app/infrastructure causing this mass issue on their side of the equation; then they need to have the app decertified to run on certain devices. Just because it will install, launch, and then promptly crash does not mean it is comparable with the device. Imagine Apple putting out a upgrade to their iOS and at that point all devices that weren’t capable of supporting that new version of iOS were allowed to download and install, but apart from that stopped functioning because they didn’t have enough system resources to actually operate while running the new updated software. Don’t think that business strategy would fly very far… The irresponsibility of MZ to not first acknowledge the problem for what it really is, but more importantly to adaquately address (by roll back of updates OR fix by way of new update) is a sign to me this company is in trouble and perhaps is as unstable internally as the app is.

        I recently read that MZ was seeking a new infusion of venture capital, I would hope that any potential investor would do its due diligence before hand and put strict conditions on any investment that prior to being given the funds that instead of continued spending for mass marketing via a bimbo celeb, that they get the app and infrastructure stabilized for its existing customer base. It’s my opinion that senior management at this company lacks the business skills needed to make a successful long lasting company as other popular game makers in the industry have, and perhaps they know the end is near. To that I say, any further investment of in-game purchases for packs is at risk and I would suggest all plan for the games discontinuation accordingly. What has happened so far is no doubt being noticed on MZ’s executives daily financial dashboards – otherwise stayalive and his proclamation of “all is good” would have never been needed. Stay strong with boycott of purchases and good luck!

          I can assure you Stayalive is not an MZ exec. I have met him in RL with some other GoW players and he is just rolling in cash like you inferred.

            No – not conspiracy theory, but it does beg the questions of how MZ can give him such confidence in addressing the long standing issues to the point of him announcing a boycott should be called off. First of all, these stability issues were present and complained about to MZ by many well before he appeared on the stage to call a boycott – news flash, there was already a natural boycott happening and it continues today because no one in their right mind are continuing to make in-game purchases of packs for an app as unstable as it is… Apple has even advised people to not make any further purchases – I know this for a fact because I am one of those advised of the same… So the StayAlive entrance was a Jonny come lately to the movement. Additionally, in his communication that were published there was very little emphasis on the app stability and not one mention of the updates that created the instability with most… It was mostly wish list crap, and then we get a notice published that boycott is off, and he is satisfied MZ has addressed and will address the issues and that coincides with a blog posting from MZ making a statement about finding the biggest crash offender and a fix has been implemented. Now it would be different if we really were experiencing reduced by significant amount of crashing, but the fact is people are voicing no change, and I can validate that with my own experience. Can’t even take advantage of the extra goodies MZ dropped around kingdom over weekend without having to contend with multiple crashes just to get to a monster or tile… Yet, the masses are supposed to be influenced by the big of all bigs and drop a boycott? Hardly a reasonable request and I don’t see Mr. StayAlive using his high purchasing power influence in making sure that MZ has followed through with their statement of having “fixed” a crash offender. It’s got beyond rediculous now, it’s been many weeks and MZ hasn’t moved on something that has to be totally obvious. As i stated in my first, they are certainly seeing it on the financial forecast dashboards I am sure the MZ executives have running on their desktops… And I hope it continues blinking red lights until they either fix the issue or fold. And from what I’ve read around the web… Particularly in the game reviews, folding seems to be very much a possibility if not inevitability.

              I won’t disagree with you on stability issues, the latest update was very bad in terms of fixing those. To say that someone stayalive is getting special treatment could be true and could not be true. Sometimes I think MZ doesn’t want an overall ruler like stayalive because then he can initiate boycotts like this one and “rightfully” demand change. If the game wasn’t monopolized by his team it would be harder for everyone to ban together.

        Ok so MZ says they fixed the lags, then why am I getting kicked still? They just did a lot of smoke and mirror stuff say there were fixing things. Now how about getting down to real problems with the game.

        1. Troop strength is suppose to be limited to food production. A flaw that will never be fixed, so why not give us players unlimited march rallies? I mean 375,000 against a player with 50 million or more troops.

        2. Stop the cyberbullying that is going on in all kingdom chat rooms? Its against the law in 49 states and against MZ own terms of service. But they do NOTHING about it. Let’s see MZ start to delete players who break the LAW.

        3. Lets give the big pay to play players there own “Super Kingdom” were they can go and kill each other off, and leave the smaller players alone until they too can get to the 1 billion plus power level.

        4. Get your customer service staff to answer all emails, and not with a cut and paste response.

        I’ve sent a couple of emails regarding my shield dropping 6 hours early, but this was met with utter contempt. I loved playing this game, but if I don’t get my troops reimbursed they will lose both my husband and I. I will no longer spend money on a game that when putting a genuine ticket in gets a response that basically called me a liar.

        MZ ‘fixes: My thoughts
        Inferno ‘double gold’ but forgot to mention they put the top tier all the way up to 70M. My thoughts: fail. The inferno is a pretty high bar to reach. The prizes were good, but as Stayalive said – need the inferno’s reachable.

        Monsters – double rewards and better drops. My thoughts : fail. When hitting monsters didn’t see better drop rates. I did notice the tiles were twice as large for RSS, but people want the materials, cores, pieces, not RSS. (Can’t comment on mat’s as I have been on mostly gold monster tiles.)

        Chests/rare materials : No comment from MZ.

        Lag – I haven’t attacked, but did have some wierd issues with the app. Leaving the game seemed to be harder, had to hit exit three times.

        No comment on trading – Fail. Trading materials, peices, cores is a HUGE request. Nothing on the blog about it. This could be coordinated with the alliance city by putting a building in the alliance city to trade within the alliance. In June the response back to Stayalive was end of summer. Well we are here – providing an update would be good. Is it happening? How far away? This would acutally take some sting out of the rare matieral issues (at least in my alliance).

        – what are others opinions on MZ’s ‘quick’ fixes?

          As a follow up – I did gather a couple RSS tiles this weekend. I personally did not see better drop rates or quality of materials.

          My other thought on the end of the end of teh boycott from stay alive. Honestly the boycott probably had to end soon. If people stopped playing for to weeks or so, people may have started to do other activities, play other games, etc. And probably wouldn’t go back to this game. (reality of the cost/benefit may sink in)

          I did want to leave a positive comment – I do think the kingdom merge trail is a good thing. It is a controversial issue no doubt. But at least MZ is trying one to see how it works out.

          I really would like MZ to address the materials issues. After system performance (lagging and dropping) I do believe thsi is the other top issue. If they won’t change chest open rates, fine. But can they say why they have materils that can’t be used for anything? (pink fireballs, etc). If they have another set, they should release it for those materials. Will they ever adjsut the rarity of the materials? I understand the rarity is what has spenders buy more packs, but I think they are a little too far on the ‘spend to get’ side.

          The material issue is still my top issue as I have had some issues with the drop, and lag is everywhere, but I have dealt with it.

          I can’t believe that so few players realize this. Yeah u 2x3x, 4x or5x inderfno for training or whatever u take the points a do multiply it by same number. So why don’t u keep the points X1 and devide the points for toehr stuff down to 0.2 points or 0.25, 0.33 or 0.5 points. They, concentrate on x4-5 and they r still impossible to do. 500$ to complete an inferno is complete ——- bullshit

        opened gifts today expecting a change.. many 15 minutes on monster gifts 5/6 and alot of 125 gold on both..

        Thank god for them doubling it or a lvl 6 hyrdra gift would be a five minute speed up or 60 gold

        I have crashed multiple times this morning just hunting monsters. It seems the crashes happen when switching from or to the map page. The crashes have multiplied since the last update. Three day shields drop before the three day timer expires. Mz has failed to address these issues.
        Several people thought they were shielded during the last kvk. We watched them being zeroed, unable to help. They had put up 3 day shields. Not a word from mz.

        A word of warning to mz: once the exodus of players begins, you will not be able to placate the playerbase. They will move on and gow will fade. It has happened before many times and it will happen again. Now is your time to save the game, mz. Our eyes are on you, and more importantly, are on how the gameplay improves.

        On the way of merging kingdoms: So basically, a losing kingdom is likey ( not necessarily tho) going to have more non spenders, and small people. What a way to help rid the game of them. Put them permanently in a kingdom thats likely going to hand them their arses on a consistant basis instead of once every few days. They need to do some thing to even the field. Just not sure thats the solution.

        I agree with what John said. They take away what little value we get or got from events. I used to be able to do 3-5 kingdom events from 1 pack, now I can’t even get 1/7th of a kingdom event from one pack!

        I’ve watched as they’ve slowly raised prize limits and lowered rewards, to the point it’s barely worth doing the math to figure out how to get the prizes from events.

        They admit glitches and lag issues, but have done nothing to compensate the thousands of Us affected by lag and crashing. I’ve personally lost around 10 million troops in the last month or two taking rallies I didn’t want to take, because I couldn’t shield when a march was out(glitched, it didn’t actually exist).

        Events have to take a full rewind back to what they were at the beginning of this year, and compensation must happen for the lag, in my opinion.

        Not sure how anyone would event compliment the current “changes” as it has been made even more impossible to achieve third prize in anything, unless hundreds are spent. Also, not sure I’ll ever trust MZ fully to not be more than greedy, as last year I spent near $3,000 in two months to finish all research and get good gear to fight effectively and maybe lead rallies. Only to have MZ make it all obsolete about a week later. Setting me back to before I spent any money. Guess we’ll see how much MZ “cares” soon.

        Hi Chad,

        I have been victim of some the issue listed in your post. However I run my business and I understand why MZ have so many problems but in my opinion the most important factor is the customer. I’m not mad about it because lags, glitch or whatever but because took them 3 days to reply to my emails! In my business I make sure growth is equal to customer service. If I have a problem should be helped directly from MZ instead I had to look for solution all over the net! This is a very good and enjoyable game and some of us have paid in a small fortune, so please lets make sure it runs nicely!
        You and the team are doing a good job here….this will be my reference point for as long as will play the game.

          I definitely agree with you on the customer service. It’s been more annoying for me than any other issue and I know how important it is from running a business myself as well. The macro responses have to end and the if the response time stays around 24 hours i’ll be good.

            Still Love your Site!

            But, having been in customer service for a long time, a 24 hour turn around isn’t “top notch”. For email service, I considered it the “outside” metric. 4 hour service is a good target.
            But, much more importantly, the “faster” response times that you noted only applies to certain players.
            Everyone else I talk to tells me that they either NEVER get a response, or it takes many days. That tells me that MZ’s mail server is set to direct certain inbound emails, based on the senders email address, to a “priority cue”. The rest go to the “Oblivion Cue”. I have a current issue, where the research speedup button froze in the last 4 minutes of an inferno, thus i missed the 3rd target, and wasted a whole bunch of speeds and rss. It’s been 7 days now since i sent in the “ticket”, and no response.

              Ya I’m pretty sure you are right. Certain players might have priority depending on how much they spend or how new or old they are to the game.

          I agree and the issues with MZ continue despite several updates in the last week. On Friday I purchased a pack and have yet to see it appear in my account. It is showing in iTunes as purchased as well as the money coming out of my bank account. The issue becomes further complicated by the fact that despite many emails to Customer Support, I never get a response!

          There comes a time when Customer Service has to keep up with demand and be able to address issues as they arise and help the customers rather than to totally ignore the customer and their issues. Without speaking to the customer, the customer never knows that their issues are being addressed.

            I purchased the ‘Thank You Double Everything’ pack this evening. I had $100 credit on my iTunes account. I bought the pack and it said purchase successful. I have nothing from that pack. Took my money. I’ve emailed them along with the proof of purchase reciept from Apple. Did they resolve your issue yet? I’m beyond frustrated. This has never happened to me me. Anyone else ever had this issue and did they resolve it?

            Ive had that same problem but with the help of my alliance i managed to get it resolved by closing and restarting the app and then clicking on the gold icon top right of screen to enter the gold store! Once the gold store had loaded my account was credited with the pack!Try that and if the problem persists contact ITunes and they should be able to get you a refund!

        While I’ll give MZ the benefit of the doubt and give them a bit more time before I solidify an opinion, I’m already seeing things that makes me feel that this will be nothing more than lip service.

        First — Lag/Glitch. Like written above, I applaud them for taking responsibility on this. As someone who works with computers, bandwidth etc, I can confidently say its not an easy…or cheap fix. Still, they seem genuine to want to fix it. But I will say this —- I can’t count how many email responses I have from MZ that ALWAYS said the problem was at my end. In fact, not once did they put it on them – It was always my fault or something I was doing (presumably the same with many many others). In my opinion, MZ should be compensating every player in some form… perhaps with a free gold pack of their choice. It certainly should be more than an afternoon “athena gift”, thats for sure. Being accused of something that isn’t my fault is inexcusable, and this blog entry admitting it’s on their end further validates my point.

        Second — Inferno’s. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this, which is why I’m not optimistic about the situation getting better. MZ writes about higher payouts and events (example – Research worth 6 pts sometimes)… yet they increase the points needed to complete them. If you do the math, those new targets actually work MORE in MZ favor!!

        Finally (and this wasn’t mentioned), the contents of the chests. MZ claimed that they limit top tier items in the chests or else everyone would have great stuff. I’m sorry, but if I have 500 samurai chests, I should get a bit more than (5) lvl 1 and (2) lvl 2 diamond geodes. This, in my opinion, is their best selling tool…the “Dangle the carrot” strategy and many (including my idiot self) have chased items with my credit cards. No more.

        I really like the game, and this comes from someone who isn’t a gamer. I saw 50 commercials during the super bowl, and later that night I downloaded it and got hooked. But this honeymoon is quickly coming to an end if they don’t invest in their loyal players more, and stop with this unethical, immoral, money grabbing approach. I understand its game and all, but with as much as I’ve spent, I don’t think its too much to ask for.

          I agree completely with the drop rates. I bought 2 summer packs when the boycott ended and still can’t craft anything of value. Best things received was 2 lvl 4 force tokens, 1 lvl 5/1 lvl4 diamond geode, one lvl 5 gold flake and the best of all…1 lvl 2 turquoise fireball and 2 lvl 2 green.

          Who cares if we all have good gear? I mean REALLY????
          It shouldn’t cost $10K to be competitive. In the end, if that’s the case, we ALL lose. The game is about teamwork and if we all have similar gear then the best team will win instead of the guy or guys who spend the most. I honestly don’t want to play a game where I have to outspend my opponent. I want to beat him with teamwork and strategy.

        Drop rates being doubled or more are barely bringing it back to what they were pre March when we had out first monster tournaments and mz clearly nerfed monster gifts.

        Double the payouts of infernos… I’ve yet to see it. And even if it happened… That’s returning us to what it was like when kvks started again last januaray-ish

        But like with high gas prices they get so greedy that we say something and as a offer of genoristy they offer us payout worse then before but better then what we’ve dealt with lately.

        We’re all willing to spend… Stop taking the little you give us .

        Like casinos / good infernos.

        Or good infernos post ke to help rebuild lost troops.
        Or even gold as a prize for placing first in 1vs1 kvk or ke.

        Mz gets cheaper and cheaper with us.. I think that’s our main issue.

          I agree with what John says. Basically they’ve slowly robbed us of what little value we could get out of infernos and kingdom events – it wasn’t like we weren’t spending. We definitely were, but the events just got worse and worse and kingdom events became completely unobtainable unless you spent $600 to get the event.

          I remember back toward the beginning of this year I could do 3-5 kingdom events off of one $100 pack. It was a continuous growth thing, instead of hoarding speedups and resources for one big push day, I could do it over the course of a few days and maximize my rewards while continuously building. It was way more fun.

          If they admit the lag issues then they should be compensating lost troops that have happened over the last few months because of lag issues. I’ve lost ~10 million troops recently because I couldn’t shield due to glitched marches or lag. What infuriates me the most is that I haven’t gotten compensation for their failure, and it’s ultimately why I deleted my app. To me, until I am compensated this game doesn’t deserve an icon on my iPad/iPhone

          Have you seen the packs in the last, oh, 3 months? MZ took from events, added to packs. Probably in an attempt to appease those who felt the game is too expensive. Now they hear complaints about inflation. So what’s next? Take from packs and give it back to the events? That would probably help with the perception of inflation, but the end result will be exactly the same: the money spent months prior to build an account is eroding away.

        Bout time MZ fixed lag and glitches, its still there, but not near as bad. Was zeroing someone earlier amd got some minor lag, but nothing major like a crash.

          I have quit spending and will hold off until I see “ACTUAL” progress. Promises are great but MZ is making BILLIONS from their spending players and it is high time they invested a good portion of that money back into the game we are PAYING to play.
          These are not hard problems to fix and should have been addressed before anyone even began to think of complaining. A truly great company, deserving of the money we spend would have been front and center when the first complaint was posted. Bottom line, it should have never come to a boycott to get them to do what we are paying them for.
