The Trick to Exploding a Rally Trap Instantly!
Over the last year, we have seen the number of Rally Traps grow exponentially, and the threat levels of traps have change significantly. Strongholds under 2B power used to be a dream target, but now the chances of Hero walking home from one of those is near zero.
Most players having either grown to become “Hero eaters” or reached invincible power levels (when their Hero is home), and it’s become harder to find targets in older kingdoms. With this in mind, some of the players of (Kua) in K208 have been looking for ways to score BIG on points without risking heroes (and the expensive cores that go with it).
The Question
With insane boosts and debuffs on recent cores and pieces, a solo victory on a 1.8B player is expected if you can hit fast enough to catch them off guard. A rally on 1.8B is sure to grant big points if they can’t core, so how do we get a rally to hit fast enough to catch these traps before they simply press the equip button?

Most people know that a double rally will instant port the second rally, but not actually land a hit, and the same goes for a double ย solo. However, a double hit from two different types of marches will land both.
This was an idea from the rank 4 room of (Kua), previously called (AXb). It was discussed briefly as a fun test to run, but was not immediately tried. Many times I tried to sneak a solo into one of Danoman007 or King Showtym’s rallies in the Forrest, but I never could get the timing down without better communication.
This last kill event, however, nut cases like XxBob and Dabbleton were “solo blasting” anything they saw, and accidentally pulled off the idea we weren’t sure would actually work.
Bob snuck a solo march into a rally trap in the woods before the trap could equip gear, meanwhile Dunn8reezy had already launched a fully cored rally. Bob’s solo hit instant ported Dunns rally into the trap for an incredible amount of damage, grabbing our attention and raising an excitement level rivaling a level 5 pendulum drop.
Speed rallies are great, but an instant rally is about as good as it gets.
Admittedly, this tactic is fresh on our minds and is still a work in progress. Our Hero’s love for jail time is only outweighed by their thirst for kills. If this technique works even 50% of the time, we all may actually be able to start swinging the advantage back from traps to the large attack accounts.
In the rally trap era we play in now, one can only hope…
Update: Method Verified
We used the method perfectly last kill event and absolutely crushed traps. Three of our alliance members broke 3B points, and one broke over 4B.
Deceive the traps into thinking they have time to get ready for the hit by launching in full cores from 4 tiles away. From offscreen, have the solo hitter send their March as fast as possible AFTER the rally is marching, forcing the random port (if the solo march burns the enemy) and causing the rally to instant hit.

I attempted this during our KE this weekend, the solo hit and ported the target out of wonder, but the incoming rally did not get ported into him. Has MZ fixed this tactic?
Any updates on above technique and is anyone cracking the t2/t4 traps?

KUA the talk about how proud they are and how much respect the have the reality is that the are all thugs. We recently had a death in our alliance KB$ incubus brother of Aquilez. Incubus was zeroed by KUA while lying in a hospital bed fighting for his life tragic motorcycle accident. Exactly 1 week later after his brother death KUA zeroed Aquilez regardless of the numerous email by me and others to quit the attack please. We all got laughed at and spit on. So does KUA really respect and honor the game and players?NO! Long live 208 and the the true brotherhood of KB$.

Not sure what to say, guys. Didn’t work tonight either when our kingdom tried it again. Thanks don for your efforts). And it truly was effective in ke, or I wouldn’t have sent to navi. Only thing I would say is to try it during a kill event and see if it changes.in 2 different multi kingdom ke, it was DEFINITELY working great. I hope it is consistent in future (whether successful or not), as the strange exceptions during kill events has become all to frequent. Thanks for reading and I will keep investigating.
Blunt, have you had any additional success or updates on your above technique? I found your article interesting and we’ve been trying to crack the t2t4 trap technique that has taken over our kingdom and eating up every rally without cores. So this article gave me hope that rallying can still be fun. Lol. Thx
We tested and it did not work. Once the solo March burned me out of the wonder the pending rally immediately hit and cancelled. Unless they just recently changed the dynamics during kvk, you can only be burned one time and all pending marching or rallies are cancelled. As a solo trap being caught in the wonder with a rally happens on occasion and a method to avoid it is to 1. Drop alliance
2. Zero your hero battle tree spec
3. Have a big in your alliance solo you out of the wonder.
Maybe We are doing something wrong but this method of avoiding a rally in the wonder is completely condradictory to this article.
Didn’t work for us tonight either. Lol. Figures. Give it another shot on a ke and let me/us know, iron. I will as well. I assure you it was effective on two separate 16 way ke, but hard to say whether the not it was an “accident” . Either way- thanks for reading and giving it a test and appreciate your feedback.
Below methods works many times for our alliance:
– rally leader port 2-3 tiles from target big size with no good defense gear (up to 10b)
– start rally (5 min), prepare all necessary debuff and march reduction time
– use hermes as starting
– wait for reinforcements, tell one of rally filler to send reinforcement on the last few second before rally launch, and don’t speed up
– use attack now button (in 4 min for sure with RR 10)
– so it suppose rally launch with hermes, but still can not launch because waiting for last reinforcement to be arrive and it still on the way
– pop up the cores
– speed up last reinforcement (by rally leader only)
– when reinforcement arrived, rally will launch automatically and hit the target with the speed of hermes but you already wear cores. it will hit in 2-3 second and for sure no time for defender to pop up the cores to defend.
Some practice needed, especially for last rally filler and leader
We do the same. “Lag the last March”. It’s awesome way to counter getting port-hosed. Lol
This does not work at all. You cannot switch to cores or any other gear before march leaves and get the benefit of Hermes.
I tested also. Hermes boost wasn’t implemented.
OK we are testing this and it isn’t working.
Rally is marching.
Solo is sent.
Target is ejected.
Rally is canceled.
What are we doing wrong?

A group tried that strategy with me this KVK….The solo died to my Xena, and the rally died to the core port.
The strategy will only work if the target you are going after is solo-able.
No argument. Lost hero quite a few times. Luckily rally saved it.
